Please submit guesses for Ramona’s mystery tune in the comments section of this post. I would say it was easy, but it never seems to end up that way.
Clues may be provided if the song cannot be guessed.
Thanks for submitting music.

Artwork is altered Ziltoid cover and Botticelli’s “Primavera”.
Hope the NAP correspondants are having fun at the Primavera Sound Festival.

OH MY FUCKIGN GOD!!!!!!
Ziltiod Rules!!!!!!!!!
Thanks HS
I totally agree, and it was my pleasure.
I third on the Ziltiod. Sort of reminds me of the Chad Vader, Day Shift Manager stuff…
I really like this cast, it flows very nicely. The Baby Huey is pretty nice, and who is b. jumpsuit?
You should read up on Devin Townsend. Fairly interesting dude. The whole Ziltoid album is pretty cool. It might not be what you expect from just hearing the character.
b jumpsuit is a lurker, who finally got the courage to submit a song. Maybe they will speak up here.
I chose Doug’s song for him this week because there was a little confusion in my inbox, and I missed his actual submission. I will add it to next weeks.
oh actually i submitted the decembrists song not RM (i’m RG)
i say this not so much as to steal back the credit but – given the palpable anti-colin sentiment – so as not to get ramon stoned!
i love that damned song btw.
Sorry about the mix up. I think everyone should just lower their expectations of my abilities to create an error free cast, so no one gets disappointed… that is, if you haven’t lowered them already.
Sorry Rosa, that Decemberists song is a perfect example of what can be so nauseauting about Colin Maloy.
Lines like:
read it in the tea leaves
and especially…
so here I am in my corduroys
And I have to confess I own a Decemberists album.
Btw, I love that Pretenders song you submitted. Thanks for that!
ain’t no thang, hs.
killian, man, i’m so hard of hearing that i can barely make out the lyrics. “tea leaves”? oh. that’s what he’s saying! maybe i can stomach decemberists because i’m deaf.
this song i just like it’s kinda twangy country shuffle. totally unlike alot of their stuff.
Yeah the tunes alright if you can shut out the voice.
There’s some stuff on Picaresque I like – 16 Military Wives, On the Bus Mall.
Ramona,
Care to give a clue?
I’m really amazed that this group can’t figure out this song, considering our collective past. But maybe it was just me who always thought the song was funny, funny. And the guys who made it were funny, even though they’ve scattered to the winds now, though I heard one fluffy red-haired guy ended up at Wired in San Francisco.
Oh jeez it’s Wafer of Darkness.
I would have gotten it earlier but Ziltoid melted my brain….
Congratulations Ramon! And thanks Ramona for providing fun NTTs.
Ramon, when you send your NTT, can you remove track info for me so I can take a stab at it, and PLEEEEEEEEASSE feel free to do the whole intro/NTT like Anaconda did recently. It would be great if you could.
OK.
Thanks for playing all.
If I ever win again, I’ll try to remove the track data for you EM. Sorry about that.
Everytime I see that new mobile phone the Wafer, it just makes me laugh. Good job Ramon!
Gotta love Three Day Stubble. I loved whenever the Mike Gunn played with those guys. Always a good time.
I don’t think those guys are scattered to the wind so much. They still play in San Fran as far as I know.
Tyler, Mr. Positive, from Brownwhornet is their drummer.
I was at a picnic with Donald in San Fran not so long ago.
I need to digitize the monster album.
Good one Ramona.
