Shredders
One week I might write something again. This is not that week. Instead, I will point out this shredder video. It's not what you think.
Watch the whole series. Make sure not to miss the Slash version.

That is hilarious and very well put together.
The van halen one is hilarious too. who the hell is he playing with, Midnight Oil?
Also, is it me or is the video slowed down some?
That is the ONLY time I've ever made it though a shredder video based on 5 words "It's not what you think." Sorry Justin, it was exactly what I thought it was. You owe me 2 minutes.
Am I the only person in the western world who finds these and the dude whining about Britney Spears dull-witted and tedious?
The Van Halen one is awesome. He's playing with Jan Hammer and Tony Levin. It's actually some shindig for Les Paul, who you can see come up onstage at the end.

Well, the Britney guy is lame, but these shredder videos are genius.
I was told by NPR that the Britney album is good. I must admit, I'm intrigued.
Thank you Justin.

NPR Lied. I've heard at least one song and it is nothing I would call "good." The word I might use instead is "suck."
You lost me at 'suck.' what were we talking about? My brief 5 second interest in Britney has almost evaporated.
But, I must find myself intrigued - yet again! - that you actually listened to a Britney song Justin.
But then again, it explains why you made us listen to this terrible video. Asshole.
Hey, I'm not going to criticize something without at least listening to it, so I suffered through the Britney song. I even almost made it to the end before I couldn't handle how dumb it was.
And what about these shredder videos is so terrible? The guy makes them sound intentionally bad to throw all the guitar player moves into sharp relief. I think he does a bang up job.
I've had a hard time getting all that worked up over these, but I must admit this one cracked me up mostly for Ozzy's incessant clapping... awesomely funny. :)
It's just unlistenable. But, you know, that's not the reason you're watching it, probably.
and really, kudos for listening to Britney.
I guess maybe I have a high tolerance for putting up with crappy music. Must be all those years I spent at ktru.
