So, DD, where'd that Don Cherry come from? What album I mean?
Thanks for putting this together, Ramona. And also, the track i submitted is not Van Halen per se, its just David Lee Roth, meaning, just the vocal track from the Van Halen song. It sort of shows how it was possible for david to have time to develop all those gymnastic moves on stage.
The Don Cherry was something about Hell's Kitchen. I'll try to get more at home if DD doesn't reply soon.
Thanks CA. Meant to put that, but all I got out was calling you evil for making me listen to it. Which is a joke. But still.
Sudafed is your friend, just not that crappy "PE" kind--it's more like an acquaintance. Ask your pharmacist for the real kind by name.
Is it better than the claritin D, Dayquil and allergy nasal spray cocktail I've been dosing myself with?
The claritin D did make all the difference. Now it turns out I'm just plain sick, along with allergies.
But I am interested in this Sudafed. I will check that out. Maybe it's better than the claritin D for which I have to tell the government about when I buy it. Thanks homeland security!
The decongestant in Claritin D is pseudoephedrine, just like the real Sudafed, but Sudafed is just the decongestant without the antihistamine. You have to tell the government about the Sudafed for the same reason: they are afraid you're going to buy a whole bunch of it and cook up some meth. No kidding.
Holy hell, this is just damn weird. Carlos, I was going to submit the exact same David Lee Roth track to the podcast! I fucking love you. Long live the NAP! Except for that Ramon guy...
You know, I thought about submitting the David Lee Roth thing too. And I thought about posting here to say that I was thinking about it. I love you both.
Live from Soundscape: Hell's Kitchen, that was where the Don Cherry came from. I, having watched far too many reality shows, thought it was hilarious that DD got a song from the show Hell's Kitchen. But then, a distant memory of my cooler days came back to me that there was this Other Hell's Kitchen. Riiiight.
Back to Celebrity Rehab now...
Right back at you! Who would've thought the Roth would bring us together under this non-aligned contract. May we continue to share the love we found under the Assless Chaps of Roth, in secula seculorum. amen.
So where can I get hold of Live from Soundscape: Hell's Kitchen, pray tell? I ain't never heard of no Don Cherry Hell's Kitchen album, no how.
Um, I would have guessed it would be Roth actually.
Him or Canned Heat.
Ain't talking 'bout love though.
The album is called Live From Soundscape: Hell's Kitchen, and has tracks by Odean Pope, Peter Brotzmann, and Charles Brackeen/Don Blackwelll. Here is the Amazon link; I believe it was a Japanese release.
