So I love Mono quite a bit, but something happened in this podcast and it got compressed to the point of unlistenability for me. Not sure what happened.
A close friend borrowed some Mono from me while her mother was dying, and listened to "A Thousand Paper Cranes" over and over with her, the last new song that her mom ever heard that she fell in love with. I don't think either of them knew at the time the story it was based on, which I knew because I had visited Hiroshima and saw display cases full of paper cranes.
I would love to see this band live. I think it would break my heart in the best way possible.
Hi doug,
I have an idea as to why the compression happened. The cast was converted twice. Once by me and then again by Podomatic. Sorry about that. I would love to see them live too. Thanks for the link. Wow.
