73… or 75?

Sorry this podcast is a bit late. Can a podcast actually BE late? Somehow I think the episode number is off, but I don’t have the time to figure out why or if exactly.

This episode starts out with an entire mystery piece for you to guess. There are 4 cover songs on this cast.

I hope those who listen will enjoy it. Any theme suggestions or submissions for upcoming episodes?

The mystery tune which starts the podcast is covered by another artist later on the cast.

I am so unfamiliar with these bands, there's no way I could guess.

Starting with The Stranglers – I'm getting to love these English. I think it has something to do with Gordon Ramsay and Wallace and Grommit.
    Apparat song – really nice
Wilderness – the music sounds good but the singer sounds like a fish trying to sing and I just can't get past that. Funny that he's trying to make human contact. Maybe he IS a fish?
Hyatari – sounded like it would be cool and japanese-y but it wasn't. it was that kind of singing that just doesn't appeal to me but with the rest of the band doing that kind of power thing that I do like.
I don't know what kind of music that is. Death metal?
Arban & Steven Severin – love it
Sun Ra – heard of this guy! Still don't like him much.
Evolution Control Committee – this song is listenable and funny. Bug out is a Heinlein-invented saying, fyi. (One of my favorite writers)
The Fucking Champs – not for me, so much so, it's the only I can't listen to. it's the guitar.
    Robin Trower – ok
Ratata – my favorite on the mix, awesome
    Grossman/Lecuyer/Ragusa – lovely
Boards of Canada – almost like it, but it's a tad on the whiney side with the high notes
Rough Silk – glam death rock? enjoyable. Is this the band who did the mystery music?
Melvins – huh, interesting. maybe this is the mystery music band?
