Yes, one of many. I have a Three Mile Pilot interview somewhere that never saw the light of day that was for said project as well. I don't remember how philosophy was going to play into it, but I'm sure it made sense to me at the time.

Saw them with Sunday Puncher at the old Emo’s in 1997, with like 8 other people. They were a swarm of sound.

From what i hear the bassist is a gardener now.

You are correct, Conor. I was totally unaware of the Fargo Bossk. Love the Wiki take-off as well.

John plays his bass through a Marshall guitar amp. He does this so that the chords aren't muddled in the way they would be through a bass amp. He uses a Ratt distortion pedal on a couple songs.

I'll bet that didn't give him much bottom end. Noah Scuse did the same thing with Willis. Got some interesting sounds but lost the oomph.

Thanks. I was shocked you'd heard of Bossk, until I did a google search. I'm assuming you mean this one, not this one?

Great band, nice to see this interview, Conor.

Funny, I actually listen to Bossk at work fairly frequently. And then I caught the Star Wars reference from the band name in a book I was peeking through.

Incidentally, I believe the philosophy/music zine to which I refer, where the interview was to appear, was a Doug project that never quite happened, but my memory of this is a bit hazy at this late date.
