My first album to buy was the Rolling Stones, a bit before this album, actually. They are kind of an always around band for me to listen to and were big in my college, that was totally hippy, or, my group was. It has some strong ties to key points in my life, especially this album.

The Stonescast is music from the album and tour that suckered in my generation (and yours) – those hucksters. It's also where I learned what T&A meant.

Nice mix, can't go wrong with Lou Rawls and Yma Sumac.

However, there are two sentences I don't understand:

"but refining what lounge music has been a trick."

"it has a nice mix of old and new but of the subtle flavors of which I like"
