It was total madness. Everything closed the next day and people just ran around on the streets like crazies who just escaped from the nut house. I hope everything is closed in DC today, we need a break from politics, before the real fun begins. Alas, in NC we are working, and not yet decided which was we go (though we did choose dem governor and senate). and I was in Italy when they won the world cup in 1982. It was total madness. I tried to imagine it without all the people around. I've walked through that park many many times but not with so much time to enjoy the scenery.<br/><br/>Crowded as it was - it was incredibly unthreatening, joyous and a capitalist hustle...<br/><br/>I bought a t-shirt that said Obamapalooza on the front (the rally was in the same spot Lollapalooza is now held every year).
