Hah, those are all great. Apparently the beamz thing is $600! I was definitely wtf is going on for a minute there on the second one, like could it be some really misguided commercial tie-in, before I realized the mash. Amazing. The third one wasn’t good enough until the flute came in.
That Beamz thing is killing me. I went to their website and checked out their whole world of enchantment. Before that, however, I read an article that said it was $600!!! On their own website they price it at $299, which is still completely outrageous. What is the market for that thing? I’m pretty sure I know of not a single person who would shell out the cash for something that ridiculous.
It comes with 30 preprogrammed “songs,” a term I am using generously, and after that, you purchase more from their website at $1.99 for their creations, and $2.99 for their take on original songs from bands like Gorillaz and Smashmouth!
Again, who in the world would ever think of buying one of these?

My favorite part about the Beamz thing was that apparently it’s necessary to don sunglasses when playing the rock music. More cowbell!
