I feel i’ve been slacking on my blogs recently. 152 weeks there is bound to be some low points. and busy as we’ve been, my focus has been elsewhere. But busy is always busy. Yet, if anything I can be incredibly stubborn. And I’ve been known to change direction though not always quickly.
On that note, what the hell is up with Beyonce making babies dance?
Is this how disconnected I am that babies everywhere are dancing to Beyonce? I guess that’s ok, I’m glad it’s Beyonce, in a very funny way it seems to make sense. I guess babies have been dancing to music forever and maybe its just that parents are now videotaping them, but their enthusiasm for this Beyonce song seems a little more than the average baby enthusiasm for music. Anyways, this is really not all that exciting.
But at least one of the videos is pretty funny to watch:
And due to lack of preparation and the fact that it’s friday… that’s all I have time for… I wanted to write more but I’ve run out of…

This song is an ultimate jam. As a pal of mine said, “if you don’t like ‘Single Ladies’, you don’t like music. It’s ridiculous good.
Oh, and happy birthday! hope you have a super fun one.
Well, I guess I don’t like music then.
Those are some big words there mr m. At this I’ll say that there might be something likable in the song, but i’ll reserve judgment until i hear a version that is not recorded on a camcorder from a cranked up tv and being played back through my laptop speakers…
Seeing as how I work with a guy who is practically in love with Beyonce, I have heard Single Ladies at least a hundred times. I would add that her inflection and delivery during that song are almost unbearable to me. Also, I prefer the songs Diva and Halo, though admittedly we are measuring by fairly infinitesimal degrees. And don’t even bring up how unnatural she looks when she does that creepy trying-to-be-sexy-but-just-looking-forced, empty-eyed dance of hers … blech.
