Sometimes the internet disappoints somewhat. I figured in this golden age of autotuned Sagan that a gaffe on the order of “Keep fucking that chicken!” would’ve made for some massive remixes. A short survey.

All somewhat to moderately amusing, to be sure, but I feel like the great Keep Fucking That Chicken singularity of ’09 has been a bit of a missed opportunity in terms of internet regurgitation/mutation potential. Perhaps I’m asking too much, but I feel like something more clever, something truly awesome, could’ve come of this. For whatever reason, the collective mind of the interweb did not produce a work of genius this go round, but maybe in its first few steps towards KFTC remix greatness, it will inspire future generations to continue this noble endeavor.
The call to duty is clear, Conor: you need to produce the definitive chicken fucking remix.
I had not planned on paying FtC any attention whatsoever but now that you mention it I’m going to watch all of these remixes and if I don’t laugh assume I’m bothered by this too and seek fulfillment.
