Working through the stack

Some weeks I’m lazy. Some weeks I’ve got a decent idea for a post. Some weeks, I’ve got time and energy but no ideas. Uneven quality is nature of the beast for an unpaid gig writing a weekly blog post. But I do have a place to go for inspiration, ideas, and leftover junk. Just in case I’ve got no juice and no plan. I call it my NAP stack. A collection of links to stuff that might be interesting to write about. Or might not be.

This week isn’t really one of those weeks where I’m hurting for ideas, incidentally. Jay Reatard died. There’s a new Spoon record coming out, and NPR gave everyone a sneak peek. eMusic added the Warner Bros. catalog. There’s also a lot of other stuff I stored up in my blog-o-music-links. I would list it here, but instead, why don’t you take a peek yourself.

I’m really tired, after all. And I’ve got a busy weekend ahead. Longer post coming up next week in which I will probably write about Spoon or some other band that dads like.
