I just ordered an arduino controller and some light sensors. Studio312 is going to build a punch card device. One of the functions of this device will be a music player. The music will be punched into the card and the tempo will be the motion of entering the card into the machine.
Come on folks. You guys are very smart. What else should this device do?

Here is a piece of music I’m starting to build. I want to edit what is there and add something else; something feminine for one thing. What should I do with this? Visual answers are fine –Physical ones maybe (I will not stick it in an orifice though).
I like this. It has a very afrobeat feel to it, which I’m a sucker for. It seems like you should put something like a chorus that happens periodically. It doesn’t have to change key or rhythm, just lay some thick chords and maybe a vocal countermelody.
