Three Things, I Guess

I don’t know if it’s the summer heat or something else, but I just can’t get motivated to do anything. It’s a good thing I have the heat, otherwise I might have to think about what the problem really is. So, in my laziness, I bring you three things. Again.

One

First is this song I ran across after a series of clicks. It’s from a Houston based website, Backseat Jukebox, which seems to be a ripoff of Black Cab Sessions, which is itself owes a heavy debt to La Blogotheque. Both of which I’ve mentioned here before.

None of the other songs featured on Backseat Jukebox is nearly as good. In fact, in some ways I’m sorry I listened to any of the others.

Two

Ever wish you had perfect pitch? Too bad you weren’t born Vietnamese.

Three

Continuing my bafflement at the popularity of Arcade Fire among aging baby boomer hipsters, this week Terry Gilliam directed the YouTube feed of Arcade Fire’s Madison Square Garden performance. You can watch some of that here.
