Thursday – bought a bunch of really random stuff on emusic because I was irked that I had lost my points from the month before (which I do often). Bought, but have hardly listened to: the new Superchunk, some old Black Crowes, the Walkmen and a bunch of new electronica singles. (update: I have [...] Being the bookselling monkey that I am, I have a massive, running list of titles that I intend to eventually read. That the list is literally thousands of titles long does not faze the illogical side of my brain that compiles the lists in the first place. Truth be told, I think it is [...] My place normally gets rather toasty on any given day of abundant sunshine (i.e. most of them), but we’ve been having a heat wave lately that has pushed things way over the barely bearable limit into full-blown un-fricking-bearable territory.
